We had a wonderful time on Runaway. The Captain and crew... especially the 1st mate were beyond exceptional. Being a fishing boat owner in the East Coast of the US I'm aware of all that goes into ocean fishing. The crew worked exceptionally hard rigging lines. The Captain stayed on top of where fish were. Early we lost a sailfish, hooked and almost boated a huge wahoo then landed 2 nice mahi. On the way in we nailed a good size sailfish and got it to the side of the boat for some picture taking then released it. During the whole trip the 1st mate made sure all our needs were met. Great guys too. Can't say enough about our positive experience. If you are looking for a great experience book this boat but remember the fish have to bite and if they don't it's not the boats fault.

The Runaway is 34 ft. Black fin, completely overhauled in 2017 to make your fishing charter more comfortable and luxurious. Complete with an enclosed head and a small galley with seating area and fold out bed. Captain Carlos and crew have been fishing the waters of Guanacaste for over 20 years.
The Runaway is the perfect fishing vessel for Inshore and Offshore, complete with the latest electronics, outriggers, downriggers, rocket launcher and fighting chair. Also Runaway has Tuna Tubes, live well, high end rods, reels, and lures.

What’s Included
All our trips include fruit, soda/pop, water, juice, beer, lunch served in the boat only on Full Day charters, you are welcome to bring a small cooler, drinks or food.

What To Expect
During the half day tour we go fishing along the Pacific coast of beautiful Costa Rica and we look for fishes like mahi mahi, yellowfin tuna, red snapper, wahoo, rooster fish, jack, grouper and small species.
On the ¾ and Full Day tours we go deep sea fishing to catch and release blue marlin, black marlin, sailfish, and rooster fish.
